Wayne Haun is a decorated writer, producer, arranger, and orchestrator of music. Haun has earned thirty-two GMA/Dove awards, five BMI awards, and eight Grammy nominations in the span of his career. In 2018, he was awarded the prestigious Alumni of the Year from the music department of Middle Tennessee State University. Known for his tireless and passionate behind-the-scenes work, Haun has established himself as one of the music industry’s best and most versatile members.
As a producer, Haun instinctively creates a calm, generous environment for stellar achievements to be made by those around him, including award-winning artists like Jason Crabb, Ernie Haase & Signature Sound, the Collingsworth Family, Janet Paschal, Gordon Mote, The Perrys, The Cathedrals Family Reunion and more.
As an arranger and orchestrator, he has been called on to exercise his expertise for an eclectic mix of mainstream artists -- from bluegrass legend Earl Scruggs to country favorites Craig Wayne Boyd and Clay Walker; and from Broadway star Heather Hadley and J. Mark McVey to pop divas Celine Dion and Jessica Simpson, to R&B stars Jill Scott and Boyz II Men.
As co-founder and co-owner of StowTown Records, Vine Records, and Sunset Gallery Music, the East Tennessee native is a respected music industry leader who is energized by discovering and mentoring talented artists and songwriters. As a staff songwriter for Curb/Word Music, Wayne Haun continues to write and arrange, while also hosting a popular radio show for Salem Radio Network, syndicated in seventy-three markets.
