Tina Parol

Tina Parol is an award-winning singer-songwriter and producer whose resilient spirit and versatile talent have shaped a remarkable career across pop, country, sync licensing, and Christian music.

Born in New Jersey to Polish immigrant parents—who named her after Tina Turner—Tina discovered songwriting as a source of healing after being diagnosed with scoliosis at age 8. Raised in the Buffalo area, she signed her first publishing deal at 16, commuting from Sleepy Hollow, NY, to write in New York City. While studying at NYU's prestigious Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music, she inked a record deal with Universal Motown at 19. By 21, Tina scored a Top 40 Billboard Pop hit as both artist and songwriter with "Who's Got Your Money?" and toured nationwide.

Relocating to Los Angeles and then Nashville in 2012, Tina established herself as a sought-after songwriter across genres. Her cuts include tracks recorded by Britney Spears ("Rock Boy," which she vocal produced and sang backgrounds on), Celine Dion ("The Gift" and "Soul," with background vocals), Sabrina Carpenter, Lady A (the three-week Billboard #1 "Champagne Night"), Tenille Townes ("Jersey on the Wall (I'm Just Asking)"), Dallas Smith, Jerrod Niemann, Vince Gill, and more. She made history as the first woman to win back-to-back Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) Songwriter of the Year awards—in 2020 for "Jersey on the Wall" (with Townes and Gordie Sampson) and 2021 for "Champagne Night."

As an artist, Tina's music has been licensed over 250 times in film, TV (including ABC, CBS, NBC, Netflix, Hulu, Grey's Anatomy, and Nickelodeon), and major ad campaigns (Target, Maybelline, Peloton, and others). Her empowering anthem "Live Your Story" served as the theme for Disney's Dream Big Princess campaign and continues to be performed in Disney On Ice shows worldwide. In 2025, Tina was inducted into the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame.

In February 2022, Tina underwent a life-changing 10-hour, 14-level spinal fusion surgery to correct her severe scoliosis, followed by complications that collapsed her lungs and required three weeks in ICU. Relying on her faith in Jesus, she relearned to walk, breathe, and sing. Four months post-surgery, she returned to creating music with a renewed calling toward Christian songs, collaborating with artists and writers like Hannah Kerr, Micah Kuiper, Tedd T, Bobby Strand, Natalie Layne, and Benji Cowart among others.

Today, from her Nashville base, Tina remains deeply grateful, embracing this new chapter with excitement for all God has in store.
