Kyle Schlienger

Written and tracked in just two and a half hours during a writing trip in Mexico, he and co-writers Trent Tomlinson, Tyler Reeve, and Brett Young penned a song that would evolve into Young’s first career chart-topping, 5X Platinum-selling hit, "In Case You Didn’t Know”. Raised in Verona, WI,  multi-instrumentalist, producer, and vocalist Kyle Schlienger cut his teeth writing and producing multi-genre projects, while fine tuning his live chops in a regionally successful duo. After making Nashville his home and landing his Brett Young hit, Kyle continued producing demos for Young, which led to a musical director position with his band out on tour. Since coming off of the road in 2018, Kyle has honed his focus on writing and producing, and has landed at his publishing home as one of the members of the Curb|Word family. Kyle has a strong melodic/musical sensibility and thrives with collaborators who bring colorful lyrics. A strong vocalist himself, he is able to help guide and pair meaningful lyrics to infectious melodies, earning his reputation as one of the best and brightest producer/writers in the Nashville songwriter community. Kyle's songs have been recorded by Brett Young, Trace Adkins, Nate Smith, ROTUNDO, Riley Roth, Drew Baldridge, and most recently Kelsey Hart's "Life With You".
