Jon Stone

Jon Stone is a multi-platinum, award winning songwriter and producer with several No.1 songs at country radio to his credit. Originally from Eugene, Oregon, Stone moved to music city in pursuit of one dream—to be a country star on Curb Records. Over the past ten years his career and success as an artist, songwriter, and producer, have been deeply intertwined with Curb. In 2013 he signed with Curb Records as one half of country duo, American Young. Formed in conjuncture with gifted fiddle player Kristy Osmunson, American Young has brought Jon to more than a dozen foreign countries and landed him two BCMA award nominations.

In 2006, Jon experienced his first top 10 at country radio as a songwriter with Rascal Flatts’ hit “Me and My Gang.” His song was the title track off of Rascal Flatts’ fourth studio album, the 5x platinum record “Me And My Gang.” In 2012, Jon experienced his first No.1 song at country radio with “Woman Like You” off of Lee Brice’s Hard 2 Love album. “Woman Like You” landed Jon his first SESAC Song of the Year award and paved the way to No. 1 status as both a songwriter and a producer. Since the release of Hard 2 Love, Jon’s influence has remained heavily present in Brice’s two follow up albums, I Don’t Dance and Lee Brice. Over the years his songs have been recorded by house hold names like Kenny Chesney, Jerrod Neiman, and Blake Shelton. Jon continues to write for American Young while penning and producing songs for some of music city’s best talent.
